Since 1998, Atlantis Playmakers has been bringing unusual plays to the stage, and the stage to unusal places. We are now ready to create an unusal place of our own - a creative, flexible performance space for our professional productions which will also enable us to expand our student workshops.
For the first time in ten years, we are asking for your help in making the next step of our dream a reality.
We are currently working with the good folks of Western Avenue Studios in Lowell to develop a brand new theater. It will be larger than our current seating capacity, but allow us to continue to bring you an intimate theater experience. With approximatley 75-100 seats and a larger stage area, our resources will finally allow our productions the room to really take flight. If you are interested and able to make a contribution to our theater fund, your help is greatly appreciated.
We'll be able to do so much more for the Merrimack Valley community, including:
Expand our production season
Increase theater arts programming, both at our theater and in towns throughout Massachusetts.
Year round workshops for children and adults
Expand our Short Attention Span PLayFEST & playwriting contest
Special events and programming for families
Offer high quality/low fee access for other artists & theater companies
Please use the PayPal button to contribute online or send contributions to: Atlantis Playmakers c/o 4611 Monroe Street, Hollywood FL 33021.
Coming your way in 2008
The Bride
You are cordially invited to the return of our 2002 smash comedy The Bride. Please join us for the ever so solemn festivities, which will begin as soon as we can find the groom. Confused clergy, old boyfriends, and a star spangled surprise are all in attendance at Rosegate Gardens, known for its discretion, diplomacy, and rabid swans. The Bride will be the first production in our new, permanent theater space - with your help, we can bring The Bride home this August!

The Teen Troupe Performance Program is back with a world premiere. Adapted from Shakespeare's similarly titled play, A Midsummer Day's Dream is a comic romp through the beloved tradition of... summer school. Featuring such wonderful tunes as "Summer School Stinks" and a rude little fairy named Punk, students are bewitched, bothered and bewildered, but at least they're not bored! Join us for a cool midsummer delight.
