TESTIMONIALS: "Working with Isaac Byrne and Jared Culverhouse has forever changed my approach to creating a character. They ask the right questions to guide you through mentally/emotionally demanding material and away from the actor tricks and crutches that prevent a performer from really living onstage. If you want to be invigorated and inspired in a group of talented, hard-working artists, take this class." - Desiree Burch Jared worked patiently, fearlessly and tirelessly with the actors to gain deep understanding of the actions and reactions that take place in the world of the play" -Chisa Hutchinson, playwright of She Like Girls "One of the classes I took with Jared consisted of all levels of students. However, I never once noticed that some people were at a higher or lower level than others because Jared has a way of making the playing field level. He engages everyone no matter where they lie in their grasp of the subject. This, to me, is a very important quality in a teacher. Not only does Jared have great skills interacting with his students, but also he is incredibly passionate about teaching. From this passion breeds organization and a seriousness towards what it is that everyone is there to do, learn." -Adam Belvo, NY Actor/ Previous Student
"As an appreciator and practitioner of striking new modes of theater and performance, I have worked with hundreds of different teachers, styles, aesthetics, and values. I have yet to come across a teacher whose ethos has resonated with and reinvigorated my own as profoundly as Jared Culverhouse. Having now worked with him for years, and having had the opportunity to study with him, I would passionately urge you to take this class." -Kared Sours, NY Actor/ Previous Student
