Every week is unique! Summer Studio students perform a new show every Friday for friends and family, complete with costumes, sound, lights after a fun filled week of rehearsal and workshops in acting, improvisation, scene study, movement, vocal techniques, and special workshops (ranging from dialects to makeup design to sword fighting to Shakespeare). Each week also includes special days, themes and the occasional friendly competition - but make no mistake, the focus of Studio is teamwork in building a show with the rest of the cast.
Professional Coaches: Studio coaches have degrees in theater and/or education, and many are certified MA public school teachers. Many are also professional actors and directors, and all are trained by Kimberly Davis Basso in Atlantis Playmakers' Studio curriculum, developd since 1998. Age Appropriate: Students are with other actors their age for workshops, with the Adventures in the Arts group of 5-8 year olds, and the Playmakers (ages 8-15). Playmakers are further divided by age for their sessions.
Since 1998, Atlantis Playmakers has offered the next generation of theater artists an exciting, unique theater experience in our Studio. Studio Workshops are a great way to get creative, make new friends, enhance public speaking skills and team work in a fun, supportive atmosphere. Full day students enjoy age appropriate workshops in acting, movement, voice, basic design and technical theater, improvisation and more while also rehearsing for a performance at workshop's end! Half day students join us in the afternoon for those same skills workshops and half day registration includes a ticket to the final performance.
Time: 9am-4pm with pickup until 5pm included. Students perform on Fridays for family and friends.

Thank you for using the online studio registration system via PayPal (you do not need to have a PayPal account). One week workshops are open to all students, and registration for all studio programs is first come, first served basis.
Refund Policy: Because each script is created for the exact number of students in the workshop, refunds are very limited:
May 15, 2012Deadline for 100% refund of tuition fees ($25 of total is non-refundable)
July 1, 2012Deadline for 50% refund of tuition fees ($25 registration fee is non-refundable)
No refunds are offered after July 1, 2012.

REBATES: If you have a rebate code, please enter it below. Your rebate will be credited to your credit card AFTER the registration is processed - it will not be immediately reflected in your total. However, you do not need to do anything additional or mail anything, we will credit your card via PayPal directly.
