EXPLORE. IMAGINE. CREATE. The Studio program K-2nd graders* offers a highly engaging exploration of a variety of fine arts. The program introduces students to a wide range of experiences in theater, music, and art. The focus of the Adventures program is on the imagination, emphasizing the joy each chid can find in being creative. The atmosphere is supportive and inviting, and while students will create many projects and have many opportunities to "perform" we do not require them to do a "final" performance or project. Instead, parents are invited to participate and engage their own imaginations on the final day, whether it be for an hour or the entire morning. Click here to read a Q&A with Artistic Director Kimberly Davis Basso for more info about our teaching methods.
*The age group for this program is five to eight to give parents the option of a one week program for their eight year old who has just completed 2nd grade. Eight year olds can also attend the Playmakers program.

Students will learn basic acting terms, create props, have special warm-ups and acting exercises, as well as theater games. A great start for your little star. We'll have an art project and time for music each day, and parents are invited to participate/watch on the final day of studio. The arts stretch the imagination!
