TEEN Theater Classes
Teen Troupe Improvisers: Appropriate for novice and intermediate actors, this workshop focuses on short form improvisation techniques and games. MEETS: Sundays from 2:30-4:30. This workshop is ongoing, register at any time and we will schedule your start date with you. Students must workshop/rehearse with the troupe for a minimum of four weeks before being part of the performance portion (Sundays at 4pm). Next available start date: January 10, 2009.
Intro to Acting I: 90 minute class. For the novice actor or individual who would like to increase acting skills, learn performance techniques, improve public speaking, enhance creative thinking and enjoy the fun of theater in a supportive environment. MEETS: 90 minutes per class, for 8 weeks. ACTING II: ActingII will begin in January. Please send a resume to studio@AtlantisPlaymakers.com to apply for this class. Acting II is an advanced Scene Study Class, focusing on partering and performance techniques. NEXT SESSION: Starts in January- Reserve a space for $15 (space held until 2 weeks prior)
ACTING III: Acting III will begin in March. Please send a resume to studio@AtlantisPlaymakers.com to apply for this class. Acting III is an advance Scene Study and Audition class, focusing on character and text analysis and audition techniques. Starts in January- Reserve a space for $15 (space held until 2 weeks prior)
FEES: Workshop meet for 8 classes. Please call if you would like to enroll after the start of a workshop. $105 (First Time Student includes annual registration fee of $25) $80 Returning Student $60 Teen Student returning for 3rd (or more) workshop

TEEN THEATER CLASS REGISTRATION Please call 978-667-0550 if you prefer to register via phone. Teen class times are listed at left. Registration fees are non-refundable, scholarships and financial aid are available. All students new to theater are required to take Intro to Acting before moving on to Acting II. "Teen Troupe Improvisers" open to all. Reserve a space in any class for $15, good until two weeks prior to class start date, non-refundable.
Teen Apprentice Program - YEAR ROUND
Teen Apprentice Program and Application:
The Teen Apprentice Program is designed for high school students who are looking for an advanced training opportunity. Atlantis Playmakers will select up to six students at a time and develop a program with each student in specific areas - acting, technical and design. Students may be asked to understudy or perform in mainstage or studio productions, submit costume or scene designs, and/or work behind the scenes on mainstage and studio shows - each student will work with the Artistic Director to personalize a program that will be exciting and rewarding for them. This is a one of a kind opportunity for the right student to explore theater from within a professional company. Admission is rolling, meaning students can apply and start their one year program at any time.

2) Please complete the application form on the right side of this page. All fields are must be completed.
3) We will contact you within two weeks upon receipt of your application form andletter of recomendation. Once you are accepted into the program, participation is expected at a high level of engagement, and lack thereof may result in being asked to leave or delay your program.
